Some of us had a big problem while playing this game... Black squares.. because of the 8-bit pallets...

But I found the solution and I want to share it with u guys!

1. Download the Nvidia 1.2 Patch of FFVIII

2. Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Setup (You will need it if u want to run ff8 launcher v.1.31)

3. Finally Download FF8 Launcher v.1.31

How to use it:

1. Unrar the Nvidia patch into game directory (replace all of the files)
2. Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Setup
3. Unrar FF8 Launcher v.1.31 into a folder of your choice. (I put the files in the game directory)
4. Run FF8_Launcher.exe, choose your resolution, activate 8-bit pallets texture fix and if you're using a widescreen resolution also activate Stretch 4:3 Aspect Ratio.
